Ehab Faraj a 32 year old graduate of Clearwater University, Florida, U.S.A with an honours degree in Business Administration. He has been working in the financial services sector for the past eight years, and in the meantime has been working towards setting up his own private businesses. He had been working on several ideas for a year before he heard about the Investment Promotion and Enterprise Creation Program. He entered into batch 8 in 2004 where he learned how to filter and develop his ideas. He continued to use the UNIDO network to help in the development of his ideas and two years later, he has developed and worked on a few projects and businesses, some already launched others still in the pipeline. Most of the upcoming businesses he is involved in are in very innovative fields and are completely new to the region.

My Gym

My Gym is a children’s fitness centre, aimed at children from 3 months to 13 years of age. The entrepreneur along with his wife, have brought this American franchise to Bahrain with the aim of helping children develop skills that are necessary to grow into healthy young adults. Its aim is to develop children physically, cognitively and emotionally, by using age-appropriate weekly classes which incorporate music, dance, relays, games, special rides, gymnastics, sports and other original activities. My Gym’s state-of-the-art facility has custom- designed equipment, the configuration of which is changed each week to provide a new and exciting experience for the children. Extensively trained staff, award-winning class programs and excellent student/teacher ratios have earned My Gym the reputation as the best early learning program of its kind.
